Dogs love us … so will you!
Welcome to Rover Oaks! Below you will learn about what to do before your pet’s first day at our Retreat!
Before Your Book
Take a Tour!
We love showing this place off! We recommend stopping by between 10am and 4pm …. as a majority of our drop offs and pick ups happen at the beginning and ending of the day. Tours are not required to stay … it’s just nice to see where your pet will be having fun and living!
Create a Pet Profile
Creating a Pet Profile helps save you and us time … and allows you to book everything from your phone!
All pets that want to come to Rover Oaks must have a pet profile and make their first reservation online or over the phone so we can ensure your woof is ready for their stay at Rover Oaks!
Once your profile is reviewed, a member of our staff will reach out to notify you to let you know we are good to go or to get additional information for your stay.
You can also login here to create boarding, daycare and grooming reservations. All on your phone!
Vaccine Requirements
We require your Doggo to be up to date on the following vaccines:
Rabies Vaccine (1 or 3 year)
Bordetella Vaccine (every 6 months)
Annual DHPP Vaccines (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
We require your Cat to be up to date on the following vaccines:
Rabies Vaccine (1 or 3 year)
All dogs over 1 year must be spayed or neutered!
Sending Proof of Vaccinations
We have tons of animals that come daily to Rover Oaks … so it is your responsibility to provide vaccine records for your pets. We have many different options to do this, from you or your vet emailing us your records to you uploading them to your Pet Profile in your account on our website.
After your first reservation we will contact your vet and work on getting records, but sometimes this is a tedious process and sometimes we don’t get them at all … so it’s just easily if you can get them to us.
You can email vaccine information to: roveroaksfay@gmail.com
Health and Safety
Doggie daycare is very similar to daycare for our human kids. It’s a great way to socialize your dog by introducing them to new sights, smells, and sounds … and will ultimately help them become a great dog! Much like our human kid’s daycare, dogs can play rough sometimes, doggie colds can be passed around, and a friend may scratch another every once in a while.
That being said, the health and safety of our retreaters is our Top Priority here at Rover Oaks … so please notify us if you notice your doggo acting out of the ordinary… we promise to do the same!
Other Questions
-
No! Boarding dogs receive complimentary doggie daycare during their stay, so they are outside playing all day long. Dogs visiting our day spa enjoy a smaller, more intimate doggie daycare after they are finished so they look perfect when you pick them up!
If your dog doesn't socialize well with others, or upon request/our discretion your dog can have their own personal suite - and will be taken out for one on one play and breaks. We have special outdoor, one on one runs and even suites with their own runs attached.
-
Reservations are required for grooming services, "Pampered Pooches", and are preferred for overnight stays although know last minute things come up and will always try to accomodate.
No reservations are required for daycare after your first day!
-
Yes they can, and you actually receive a discount if this is the case! Our suites start out at $79, $55, and $48 ... but each additional dog in the same suite is just $42 extra per night per additional dog!
-
Our lobby hours are 7 am - 6pm Monday through Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday.
However, we have staff at the facility after these times and you may access your dog outside of business hours with a prior arrangement (additional fees apply).
We do reserve the right to refuse late/early drop off/pickup at any time.

We would LOVE if you bring your dog's food! New food can sometimes upset your pet's tummy. If you cannot or forget your dog's food, we have food we feed for $5 per day per dog.
We also recommend some treats (we don't give dogs treats unless you give them to us!), a blanket or shirt (something with your scent on it!) and some toys! This will make your dog's retreat the best possible time!

We have a staff that is CPR and Pet First Aid certified. We will contact your or your emergency contact if an injury or illness occurs during your pet's stay at Rover Oaks.
We love your dogs as our own. If we cannot reach you, we will use our discretion and do what we would do for our own dog.
We love all the dogs as our own here!
